Grace and I spent the better part of our holiday skiing in Colorado and Wyoming. There was much beauty to photograph there. In fact, taking a beautiful photograph with the snow-frosted Rocky Mountains for a backdrop isn’t very difficult.
The challenge is finding the hidden things. For that we did a little exploring closer to home and found this little beaut rusting in a ravine surprisingly near (yet hidden from) swanky condos, a park and a lake. Not sure what the back story is on this rusted American classic being swallowed up by the earth (though I’m reminded of Stephen King’s short story, “Dolan’s Cadillac”).
