Rocky Mountain National Park

How to deal with the pre-Super Bowl jitters? I’ve got a lot of nervous energy to burn, so this morning Grace and I, along with friends Amy and April, went snow shoeing in Rocky Mountain National Park. We packed a nice lunch and hit the trail just as the snow started to fall.

I just finished reading “The Snow Leopard” by Peter Matthiessen, and though it’s not quite trekking in the Himalayas, it was a beautiful, snowy adventure, and a great day to explore the Rockies.

Now we’re ready for some football.

Go Steelers!
